The Dermatological Laboratories The first non-detergent shampoo was created by pharmaceutical scientist Jean-Noel Thorel in 1977, which led to the founding of Bioderma. The research at BIODERMA has been carried out by a group of highly skilled scientists and operators since the company's founding in 1985.

We collaborate with teams from the National Institute of Health and Medical Research (INSERM) and the National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS) that are experts in the field of skin. We were fortunate to obtain all of our lines patented through our agreements.

According to Bioderma's mission statement, we don't just want to fix skin issues temporarily; we also want to develop long-lasting remedies for all skin types. Also, we enable the skin to repair and renew independently, and our mission is to help skin regain its natural harmony and health. French doctors developed skin care products for the popular brand Modern Bioderma. It has been introduced to 80 different nations worldwide and continues to develop each year remarkably.
