THE BODY SHOP
Anita Roddick, our founder, started it all by starting a tiny green shop in Brighton with the innovative notion that commerce might be a force for good. With over 40 years of lobbying, bringing about change, and shattering beauty industry standards, we've never been your typical cosmetics company—and we're still going strong. Greetings from The Body Store.
The Body Shop exists to promote a just and lovely world. This serves as the motivation for all we do. Our principles are everything to us, including the notions that everyone is beautiful, that business can be a force for good, and that empowering women and girls is important. See how our purpose and ideals are actually at the core of everything we do by reading our brand manifesto.
